It's starting to look more and more like the App State HC was the one calling the plays for them. He just can't call plays. Fritz will have to take that over because their D is actually not terrible.Quote:

And just think of how much pain we could have been in if we brought Fritz in. Sure he has a track record as a head coach, but there's no telling who would have suited up on offense this season and it could have been as bad or worse than Houston's results.

Barbay was a head scratching hire for sure. I wanted to give Arnett a chance but why he hired Barbay I will never know. Better yet Fritz hired him which is even more puzzling since he has a pretty decent coaching history and is well respected.
Blue collar with a degree in hand strikes me as an odd marketing tactic. Feels more like you’re talking to welders at Ingalls than kids you want to come play ball for you. That’s just my take.
