That would be a disappointment. I suspect Florida is too high on this list, and we'll prove it by beating them in Week 4.
That would likely get us to 4-0 and set us up to at least get to a bowl game and start a new streak after disgracefully ending one last season.
I think we can get to 6-6, would be a great start for lebby. Got om projected to go 8-4, lol.
We will beat the shit out of Sunbelt Billy and this will be his last season at Florida. We will win at least 6 games with an outside shot at 7.
Oregon at 2. They now have to play hard teams.
Bout right. Has Bears at #16 and 8-4.
They won a bunch of one score games last year. The stats tell you that won't happen again. They were 4-0 in one score games and 5-0 if you count Tulane, which was a one score game until Tulane self destructed under 2 minutes.
Stats tell you they'll revert back to the mean and be 2-3 or 3-2 in those types of games next year. I see them between 7-5 and 10-2. Which means they'll be 9-3 and will be ready for Lane to leave.
5-7 sounds about right. Hoping for a Mullen 5-7 vs. an Arnept 5-7. 6-6 is doable if we can get it done against Sunbelt Billy and UPIG.
Depending on how this team gels, LSU probably won’t be as good as they have been and could be a surprise win. I don’t expect us to win it, but I like to be optimistic about football. I’ll take 6-6, but I think we upgraded in the QB dept and in the WR dept. I think we’ve got a chance to surprise some folks. May not beat the folks we surprise, but could run them down to the wire.
I think we are clearly more talented than Eastern Kentucky, Toledo, and UMass, and given how awful Arizona State was last year and what they lost in the portal on top of that, that makes 4. And I'm not convinced we're out-talented by Arkansas (5).
Beyond those, Florida is a winnable game, Missouri should come back to Earth this year, we've been very competitive with A&M over the last decade, Texas always chokes away a game to a team like us, and you never know in the Egg Bowl, and we have lots of paths to 6-6, 7-5, or maybe even better if some of the transfers (in particular Shapen) click.
I expect it to be like OM first year under lebby where there was a massive upgrade for them in offense and it kept them in a lot of games despite the defense being bad. If it goes like that, we could pull a few upsets and end up 7-5
I'm good with never having an offense again where if you go down by 10 points you know the game is over. Hell, last year that was when the opponent scored 10 points total.
Will make for an enjoyable season given no real substantive expectations. We'll celebrate those we did not think we would win and shrug when we lose.
6-6 with an exciting offense and I'll be happy.
I've watched us win 6 games the boring way my whole life. Hoping to see a good offense for once
