I will admit I was in the camp of kicking Lemonis to the curb. Foxhall was the problem. I want to see good game management from here on out and we’ll get it. Lessons have been learned. I’m excited to see what goes down the next couple weeks.

The Foxhall pitchfork mafia was right. It took Lemons two seasons to see what we saw even in 2021. Was totally clear by 2022.

The coach I wanted gone was Gaut. The majority of the lineup was having consistently awful at-bats.
But...he seems to have had a positive effect on a few guys that has made a difference.
Pulliam finally getting the call to start. Hunter is mashing now. Kohler has found something. Chance is a difficult out.
Larry may be more comfortable down in the order.

Campbell's approach is basically use the whole field and get on base by any means necessary- HBP, walk, hit, home run, bunt single- it doesn't matter. They also adjust pitching machines to help adjust to pitchers who aren't high velo guys when they are playing someone that is a mid 80's guy so that when they face them they are better prepared and they avoid a MSU-Austin Peay situation.

I think Fox would not be fired at all in the 2023 season unless the most influential fans/booster/doners not directly intervened. Powell was right and especially on Gartman. I've watched that kid pitch since he was a young un. He had a heavy 2 seamer and got lots of ground balls. We tried to make him a 4 seam pitcher and pitch up in the zone. Landon was 92-93, which was great velo for a heavy 2 seamer, but not great to consistently pitch up in the zone.
