I?m a fan of the move, I just don?t understand why we announce it.

Let?s stop with the dumbass names.

I think Lem pulled him at 2 innings so he'd be available for the weekend. I'm 99% sure I heard him say that. I don't know how may days rest between starts and bullpen sessions we do, but typically 3ish, which would have made Memphis a glorified bullpen day.
Or maybe it's Auger again.

Actually maybe he's doing a little gamesmanship to see what Vandy does with their rotation since they're down a sp and could always switch it back depending on what happens Friday night.
-
Lo threw 115 pitches Sunday. I wouldn't want to short rest him off that either.

SEC requires we announce a rotation.

Now that I understand, but still, just let Vandy find out Friday night or even Saturday morning that Lo is being pushed back a day to Sunday.

Not arguing that. But he got rocked. His outs were loud. Command was t good. I'm sure they would like to have him available, but not sure he gained any confidence to draw a start after Memphis. He didn't w me. Course I don't matter.

Could we technically put TBD for all 3 games or are you required to list at least 2 starting pitchers?

This he didn't miss any barrels against Memphis. Really lucky he didn't give up a bunch of runs.
As good as his command was the week before it was equally as bad Tuesday. I know he's still a little rusty but we don't have the luxury of using him in tight sec game
-
Are we still doing the Nate Dohm as a starter experiment?

Valid point. Loo started on Sunday versus Auburn, not Saturday.

Yeah, I think people are making too much of this.

With a joke like that, I am sure you had no part it helping create the "grand canyon".
It is all relative of course. Bath tubs probably feel like swimming pools to small children, football fields for youth have to be cut in half ect...

Cann used to list Pilk on Friday and TBD on Sat/Sun. Although that was more because we didn't know who'd be available more than anything else.
-
Good grief...... sometimes I wonder why I even come here to get Ms State athletics information.

With him being ambidextrous, it fascinates me that we treat his pitch count the same as we do with every other pitcher.
I mentioned this weekend to my kid that I wish the TV broadcast would have a split regarding pitch count. How many came from the right side vs left side. I know our coaches probably tally this, but as a viewer - it would be nice to see.

He hasn't pitched much from the left at all lately. Maybe a couple of batters here and there, but he's been almost exclusive from the right since SEC play started.
-
I think his Sunday start makes more sense for multiple reasons. Short rest being a big one. If we win 2 and this turns our season around we may be calling Lemon a genius lol
