100% agree! This kid has brought our toughness back. He just needs to keep doing what he's been doing and leading this team. Lemonis said in his postgame the guys were all screaming "Free Johnny" In the locker room. Shows you how much they respect the way he plays and how he handles himself.Quote:

I think this is the guy that saved Lemon's job.

I'm not going to complain about Long getting ejected. We needed him to do that. Last years team would have folded and let them throw at Dakota over and over while getting run ruled.
Also would have folded getting down 5-0 but this team I knew was going to keep fighting and sure enough we ended up winning.
Georgia is a small dog taking on a big dog this weekend and we showed them what big boy baseball is in this league.
He's really done a great job handling this staff. He keeps the pitchers focused and in the game. No surprise when Lemonis named Lo player of the game last week at Florida and gave him the shirt but Lo said Long deserved it more and gave it to long.Quote:

The incompetence of a billion dollar organization is truly baffling. But what happened Saturday night happens almost every Saturday in the fall on the grass or on the hardwood. The SEC officiating is an absolute joke and the league should be greatly embarrassed that they continue to allow umpires and refs on the field or court that continue to make it all about them "Ref Show" or just totally mess everything up by incompetency.
State had all the momentum after that play and it was stripped away by a woke dimwit sitting in an office somewhere in Birmingham that most likely NEVER play any kind of sport in their life.
All that money......and that's the best you can get?
I'm not necessarily mad about it, but it was dumb so I won't praise it. It very well could be the reason we didn't sweep
