Well the lineup has changed Dubrule is now batting 2nd. Rowdy still L/O and Tanner Clean up. So our L/O is batting 209, 2 is at 200 and cleanup is at a whooping 176. Yep thats gonna get the ball rolling. Rowdys OB% is 208 also, That sucks for a L/O.

Well, Cerantola starts the year by walking his first batter. Surprise, Surprise.
How can I watch or listen?
Cerantola looks pitiful.
Well, Cerantola is still wild. Gonna throw 30 pitches in the first. Two walks and two hits. If he doesn't have it by now, he never will.
Good AB Dub. Thats how you work the count/
Tanner/
I think this “greatest pitching staff in state history” is really just alright. 2016 was much better.
Sims and Fristoe might be our weekend guys before too long.
We are still finding everybody’s role.
What bothers me is that Cerantola is not missing "small". His misses aren't close and he hits the leadoff in the 2nd.
Com’mon Big Red Settle Down
this is starting to suck, where is this great pitching staff that some of you have been blowing smoke up our asses with.
All we have been hearing is "We have 15 pitchers throwing over 95". What they didn't tell you is that none of them can throw strikes.
Well Sims warming up.
Tulane tried to give us an out by bunting, but we couldn't throw a strike. Bring in Landon Sims and let's be done with it.
No way Cerentola sees a wknd series again until he gets command. Let him start the mid week games. Start Simms or Fristoe or anyone else...
8th inning guy? Hell no. If you've got a lead in the 8th you really want this guy in there walking and hitting batters?
That should have been an out. Bad infield play is REALLY handcuffing us right now.
Jordan has played errorless ball thus far but doesn't have much range....
Gonna have to start calling cerantola, nuke laloosh.
So I am having trouble finding something this team does well at this point.
Umm, stretch for the ball Hatcher.
I said the same thing. There was another close call last weekend that went our way but if Hatcher would have stretched out there would have been no doubt.
McLoud with 2 bad starts this year, doesn?t have the control or even velo he did last year.
Cerantola hasn?t developed one bit. In the first inning Jim pointed out that he?s accurate at 95-6, but keeps throwing 97-8. Ron agreed and implied he thinks it?s dumb to try to throw so hard.
So that?s 2 of our supposedly elite weekend rotation that aren?t anything like what we expected, and Bednar may not be either. Hard to have such high hopes for the season when the ?elite level strength? turns out to be ?mediocre at best? and the hitters aren?t better than we expected
Polk says...
“Sims would be a starter for anybody in America. But he’s helping us from the pen.”
He and Jim also ID’ed that Cerantola struggles at his top speed, better at 95/96
Love Polk on the radio
