Woody Marks & Dillon Johnson combine for 3 TDs
Chuck and Duck 38
Tech 16
Dawgs 53
Tech 13
Will: 375 passing
Marks/Johnson combine for 150 yards rushing
I know a lot of people won't like this but La Tech isn't a bad team. They have a decent coach apparently their QB has some talent.
I'm going to keep my expectations low for Leach's first game in his second year and say this could be a 35-24 type of game hopefully with the Dogs on top.
Edit: I'll add some stats
Rogers - 35-60 450yds 4tds 1int
Marks - 75yds rushing/1td 75yds receiving/1td
Not confident enough to predict which WRs do what but I believe we'll see a few over the 100yd mark.
They went 5-5 last year with losses to UTSA, Marshall, and GSU and lost a lot from that team. Their two losses to good teams, BYU and a 6-5 TCU, were blow outs.
Traditionally they're better than your average cupcake, and yes I remember '08, but if we struggle at all we're in for a long season.
Dawgs East of the Mississippi = 41
dawgs West of the river = 24
What we need to see
400yds passing
150 rushing
and most importantly 0 sacks and 0 interceptions.
Tech returns 10 starters on defense, their QB, and 3 of their top 5 pass catchers. They will be improved. How much? Who knows
