I see no way that being ruled ineligible could count against eligibility. If for some reason it does he should have 4 to play 4, and we wouldn't have redshirted him had he been eligible. So it really doesn't matter either way.Quote:

I will never understand why it takes the NCAA so long to rule on these things, seems like you could just look at the facts, go to a rule book and make a decision within a day. No sense in leaving a kid wondering all semester if he will be eligible, only to find out after the season has started that he can't play.
Herard and Datcher are gonna have to learn quickly how to play defense without fouling.
