Does this mean they'll quit spelling his name $mith now?
Wow
Holy bag man.
Beastman rattlin their cage....... at this rate they will be asking C-34 to submit a resume before long
All In.
They a little late for a consulting gig. He could have helped them years ago when freeze came on.
Do they really need consulting on how to cheat? Well now that I typed that and the fact that they are currently under one of the biggest investigations in NCAA history maybe they do need a consultant.
Unbelievable, while their under investigation? Hmm, how much money, would it take for Melvin to throw us under the bus?
Ronnie Cottrell would be proud...
still, there is hope for discarded bagmen....
What are they doing, employing him not to talk?
The day my soon to be 16 year old son was born was on National Signing Day. I told my understanding wife that they were having a signing party at Gloster 205 and did she mind if I went across town to announce there was a new Bulldog Pup over at NMMC. This was in the Jackie years and Melvin and other asst coaches were there. I didn't know him personally, but walked over to circle of dawgs that he was addressing very loudly. He was bragging about how he knew how to get recruiting done and the NCAA could never follow his tracks. He especially pointed out how much Ole Miss hated him and his abilities to get this done. Wonder how much times have changed?
For what it's worth,
When the NCAA lays the hammer, coaches are gone, and players are allowed to leave, they are going to need Melvin to try and recruit what scraps are left over from around the state and surrounding states..
Shit might as well go get Trooper Taylor while they are it ...
I can't help but wonder if his hiring is an effort to come after us. If they can pay him to say what they want to hear about his time at MSU, this could be an effort to keep us from taking advantage of their upcoming troubles.
