I spoke with a high school coach at the scrimmage yesterday... I'm not sure if he is pro OM or MSU... I have an idea tho.. We were talking about our QB situation , he said In his opinion Damian Williams would be the starter at OM if the season started this week.. No knock against Damian at all , shows how far we have come in QB recruiting past few years..

They are going to be in trouble at the QB position. All of those guys didn't look ready and their running game looked about the same if not worse because of their O-line depth. I'm starting to think Freeze's gimmick system just puts a lot of pressure on the QB to control tempo, make quick reads, and take care of the football. It probably limits each of their QB's strengths in the end. Freeze needs to adapt his system to his guys instead of the other way around, and it wouldn't hurt to learn how to run the football consistently to make it easier for them.

That offense probably does put a lot of pressure on a QB that has trouble thinking quickly. I imagine that sometimes those offenses go so fast that they end up screwing something up because they aren't quite set.
If Kelly was on my team and I was the coach I would stay up at night too- the guy is just erratic from a behavior standpoint. The guy has been kicked off of at least two teams that I can think of going back to high school. And if a high school kicks off a D-I prospect QB who I'm guessing was their best player on the team- you know it had to be bad.Quote:
