I just can't understand why there are still student tickets left. The most talented and highly anticipated team in 15 years and there student tickets left. I was in school during the Croom era for ****'s sake. Just aggravates me

It's surprising, but I often waited late to get student tickets. It does seem like at this point, if student tickets are still available when students have been on campus for a week, maybe we have too many student tickets offered.

Some students still don't realize that the ticket service has been fixed. The amount of hate that this board gives the students really gets tiresome. The student section will be full on Saturday

Technically the student tickets have only been on sale for a full 4 days...

Not all of the students will be gone at halftime, just like not all of the "regular" fans will still be in the stands after halftime. Blanket statements like this piss me off.

Unfortunately, this is probably correct.

On the other side, there will be many regular season ticket holders leaving as well. My point is the hypocrisy that this isn't brought up. Instead the blame of the stadium being empty in the third and fourth quarters of a cup cake or blow out game is always placed on the students.

That's not exactly or even close to the same thing. The students get tickets that are practically free and for the most part live in Starkville. It's not a lot to ask them to stay in the stands and do their part to help provide a good atmosphere.

The majority of non-students, on the other hand, pay a lot of money for their tickets and also often have to travel after the game, not to mention for the most part have much greater responsibilities. They're already making a commitment, in both time and money, to be there and it's hard to complain if they leave early.

So paying tuition plays NOTHING into the price of tickets that students have to pay. Gotcha. Listen. Neither side is going to back down from this so can we please drop this subject? Every time someone complains about the stands looking bad, it's always blamed on the students. Do students hold some of the blame? Yes. But don't f***ing act like it's ONLY the students who should have to stay. Crap, if you paid more for your tickets that should give you MORE incentive to stay as opposed to leave early. And guess what, when the "regular" fans leave, the majority of them go to their tailgate and party while watching the game on the tv. Not much difference there.

You will be covered in 4 roses. Season ticket holders leave early, no question. Dont equate it to what students do. It is an epidemic. There have been articles written on it and hell, even saban has alabama brass keeping an eye on students leaving early this year.

I get pissed at anyone leaving. Where the eff are you going? It is starkville? So you get 3 more beers in at the frat house or are the 4th person at ricks?

You're preaching to the choir here, Ennis. I don't leave games. I get pissed at students leaving too. But saying that students leaving =/= others leaving is asinine. And if you cover me with alcohol trying to "punish" students leaving while I'm staying, I wouldn't put it past me to yell a few obscenities. Listen. No one is an angel in this. And it is an epidemic of season ticket holders leaving early, also. I know of season ticket holders who leave AT THE SAME TIME EVERY GAME. Want me to take a photo of the non-students after halftime when there are literal pockets of empty seats left behind by season ticket holders? I'll gladly do it and say "Which is this? Students or regular fans?"
