Haha thanks. On my phone so I'm not sure how to do that
That's a pretty good video, but to me it's kind of like the 'Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard' motto, which I can't stand. The obvious question is, what if the talent works hard? The assumption is that you're not as good or not as talented.
Obviously that may be true, but rather than saying, 'We may not be as good but we can beat you on any given day,' I'd rather just say, 'We're much better than you think we are, and we're about to prove that to you. Hope you're ready for a war'.
Smootness, I understand your complaint there, but our guys aren't 6 year old boys that believe anything. It's a fact - they have players that start (and star) at some of the best clubs in Europe. From an individual talent perspective, they may be better at just about every spot. The advantages we have are that they start 4 CBs on defense, so we may can out-speed them on the flanks, and we seem to play much better as a complete team unit than what I've seen from them (similar to Spurs v Heat).
Either way, I think it's obvious that on paper, we are the inferior team to any unbiased soccer analyst or expert. We definitely have to rely on them being "me-focused" and Team USA being "us-focused." Either way, I love the hype video and I hope we come out and punch them in the mouth. Merica

Will post lineups when they are out. We pretty much know what we are going to get from Belgium as far as lineup goes. For us, I expect the same one as agains Portugal. I would consider bringing in a Diskerud to help with possession and creativity tho, because we can't just sit back and defend agains this team. The biggest question for Klinsmann is what to do with Jozy. In another sport you can start him and see what happens, but with sub limits it's hard to know what to do. Do you start him and try to get an hour from him? Save him for the last twenty minutes if you need a goal? I think it really comes down to how he's looked in training and pregame warmups. If it were me, I would bring him off the bench late just to play it safe. But you certainly can't bring him in as a third substitute and run the risk of him getting hurt and finishing with ten men
I'd start him and ride that donkey into the final 8

Realllly surprised with no beckerman. Gonzales will probably sit in front of Cameron and Besler and help mark the big boys of Fellaini and Origi. I don't really like the lineup. Too defensive and not enough speed for counter attacks
May see Gonzalez in the back four with Cameron in front. Cameron has played there in his past. Will probably look like a 5-4-1 for most of the game. Johnson and Beasley will be called upon to push hard and attack
