Texas eliminated the Anteaters last night 1-0 with the only homerun of the CWS so far. It's like game 12. The equivalent of what has been done to college baseball would be similar to turning basketball into 1930's style no-shot clock, no 3-point line, and no dunking with scores of 20-12. They have butchered the College World Series. Minor league baseball won't fix it. Not even close. This is worse than the new foul rules in basketball.

First of all, their pitching has been really good lately. Secondly, they can hit up and down the lineup. Last of all, they're lucky as hell.
I agree this one's done. Having a 3 run lead in this park is more like a 5 or 6 run league in a regular college park. Gotta hope the Cavs can put OM away. And to think all of it started on a routine fly ball that the TCU CF just crapped the bed on.
Piss with 3 unearned runs... I know that fly ball that was missplayed doesn't count as an error, but that cost them 3 runs.
