Hiring Arnett one day and then firing Bumphis two days later is kind of funny.
Pretty clear that Jeff Lebby isn't listening to any boosters. Or he's just trying to piss everyone off. I don't know.

As long as he wins 7-8 games next year, I don't care if he wants us to be known as Miss. State.
The last 6 years have been brutal. Kiffin is gone, the door is cracked open, and we can become relevant again.
If he thinks this is what it takes, ok.
6-7 wins is progress and a reasonable goal. 8 wins is crazy tough expectations with 9 sec games
Done playing nice, Bump was warned before and chose not to do what is required for his station. He’s paying the toll for his decisions.
2022 wasn't brutal, it helped that we won the egg.
The rest I'll stand on. 2020, 2021, 2023, 2024, and now 2025. It has been brutal. 1-5 in egg bowls. 3 straight home egg bowl losses. SEC record of 12-37. Losses to Toledo and Memphis.
The salt in the wound is the ****ing bears/rebels being the third best team in the SEC during this same stretch is infuriating. So yeah, i don't care who he hires and fires. Do whatever he thinks he needs to do.
Just hoping for 6 wins. That continues to make progress. And if we win 6 Lebby returns for 27- 100%- as he should with the limited NIL he deals with
Yeah, I think there's about a 90% chance that 6-6 buys Lebby 2027.
Let's dive into that a little bit. Hard to tell with the portal how everyone is going to be but...
Ole Miss won't have Lane but it's in Oxford- toss up
Alabama- Loss
Auburn- Toss up, KT might give us an edge here.
LSU in Baton Rouge with Kiffin- big time recipe for a loss for MSU
South Carolina- I think we win this one but it's on the road so toss up
Texas in Austin- Loss
Oklahoma- Toss up but at home probably a loss
Mizzou- wouldn't be surprised if we won or lost this game honestly at home so toss up
Vanderbilt without Pavia- probably a win.
