It?s gonna be wild
Yep! Potential for a VERY good season is on the table for sure.
Excited to see who we play first.
Yeah, the fanbase has wanted a change since about mid season ‘23. A change to what is one of maybe 5 possible grand slam hires and there is going to be some excitement.
And this is a hire like no other in any MSU sport, even baseball. Even when we hired Cohen, and if he had been universally accepted (which he wasn't thanks to RP), there would have never been expectations like this. Cohen managed to win an SEC title but never made Omaha with KY. Getting a coach the caliber of BOC is not something we've really ever experienced as MSU fans. We did get Sherrill and Howland, but both were out of work as coaches when we got them and neither had ever won a NC plus both were taking over programs at MSU that were in really bad shape.
We need to bring back the beaches. We need to pack the place and take advantage while we have the momentum. Don't slow this train down
I agree. Extend the upperdeck down each baseline and leave the berms alone........
That's what is shown in the 10 year plan per MSU. The LF berm is gone and half of the RF berm is gone and replaced with permanent seating. Upper deck seating is also extended to the same areas and suites are extended all the way down both lines.

They could put temporary bleachers down the baseline thus year and make money. Everyone is going to want to go to the games and there won't be anywhere to sit. It's going to be miserable for everyone unless you have a loft, lounge, or club which they get on the discount.
But it would require tearing up the concourse and everything adjacent to it for foundation construction. And going higher will run up an already expensive project. Especially with steel prices. It would be a very nice expansion but will necessitate quite a large investment.
The 10 year plans says "Create general seating areas at existing berm areas". Does this mean the berm area would still be GA but now with chairbacks? It also mentions "Temporary bleacher seating for SEC games".
If they put in chairbacks I'm sure they will sell them to potential season ticket holders that are on the waiting list.
That said I think if fans want to keep the berms I think they will probably do that.
I don't think they are going to completely do away with them because I know there are certain groups of fans that like them.
Put scaffolding up and call it a day. We're an engineering school. Let's not over think this. You don't have to make this permanent. Just put it up for the season then take it down after. ... investment.. etc BS is what's wrong with our administration. Just make excuses instead of finding ways to improve revenue and fan experience.
