IF we get him. Still not feeling too confident since he didn't actually commit to us.

That was never the purpose of this visit. The goal was to make him feel comfortable with the team & get him back for Super Bulldog weekend. That's when we would expect a commitment. That's the plan for Shrader right now. Still have to get through the weekend but we're feeling a lot better.
Can someone explain this?
I didn't think this was allowed under OM's probation:
"Eric Gray knows the Ole Miss football program well. The nation's No. 3 all-purpose back, Gray returned to the Ole Miss campus for the fourth time this year on Friday."
Well, that seems like complete bullshit.
So, once the appeal is heard & denied, will players that have already taken an unofficial visit be allowed to take another?
Will the sanction last start from that point or has the time period of the sanction technically already started?
is there any info on how well the visit went? musta gone good since "we're feeling a lot better"
just got thru watching the video over on 247 and I grew some wool. he seems to have a quick release. doesn't wind up at all from what I saw. breaks tackles. 6-4 too.
So did Shrader commit to USCe this past weekend? I think I read somewhere that he was.
The director of recruiting on 247 seems to think we're definitely in the drivers seat after his visit last week. Feel like we could get a commitment at SBW.
I told everyone just be patient. Give these recruits time to see how CJM and the staff operate , give our players time to tell these recruits how it’s night and day compared to last year , give these high school coaches a little time to see how CJM and this staff is a breath of fresh air, give some time and them see the team kicking ass this fall...
The commits will come. And to be honest there a couple that would commit right now if we pushed them too.
Be patient this class will be very good .
I think everyone is going to be surprised in a very good and positive way in January and February with our recruiting.
I think getting Fabien Lovett back in the boat was just the first sign of things to come because had Dan still been around I honestly don't think we get him.
Look at this group from Michigan coming in to watch practice - per Paul. (Sorry DGD)
2019 CB and 247Sports four-star Julian Barnett of Belleville (Mi.) HS - No. 7 CB in the country
2019 OL and 247Sports five-star Devontae Dobbs of Belleville (Mi.) HS - No. 1 offensive tackle in the country
2019 DE and 247Sports three-star Jalen Hunt of Belleville (Mi.) HS
2019 ILB and 247Sports three-star Marvin Ham of Belleville (Mi.) HS - Boston College commit
Big pickup in Shrader!
JoMo doing work!
These sum beaches can recruit! We didn't realize how sorry the Mullen recruiting was until these last couple months. It's insane the difference!!
Something tells me this is going to start a little wave of commits in the next couple of months.
They're not going to be interested in enforcing it. Think about how bad a look it will be if they try to stop students from visiting a school they are interested in. The only challenge to them will be getting the visits going, but once a recruit is interested in coming and they know he is interested in playing the game, I doubt there's going to be much the NCAA can or will do.
Yeah I think you can pretty much eliminate the NCAA enforcing anything. They only care about making money. I had held out hope that they might wail on unm but when that didn't happen with all the violations they had, it showed me enforcement and penalties are a thing of the past.
Boom !!!!!
Trust me this class could be a little bigger right now If we wanted it to be ... the final 2019 recruiting rankings are going to have a certain school wondering wtf just happened
