People keep saying this. I just don't think it will happen. Our roster numbers are too short and it would be dumb to cut guys with experience. We're at 21-22 on a 35 man roster. And of course we lose the seniors and Rooker to the draft at least. I'm guessing we'll bring in 15-17 of our signees. And now apparently the NCAA is making coaches cut guys passively aggressively.

Now will they pitch less when we have healthy guys back and certain guys have more experience? Absolutely. But most of them will be back wearing maroon and white next year.

Remember when we pulled all our starters vs this team? They had an rpi in the 90s and were likely to miss out on tourney... we quit and gave them their big win to get going

We didn't even pinch run for Lovelady. How dumb assed is that? I know Bragg popped it up but no way in hell could Lovelady make it home had Bragg hit an extra basehit.

Well because Elih Marrero is a selfish asshole we are only down to two catchers and therefore if Skelton gets hurt we're screwed. So, we have to keep playing Lovelady.

We are the only SEC team to lose today, 7 of 8!

I hope this is all over tomorrow. **** this season. **** the fact that we're going to end it in a ****ing trailer park walking a bunch of garbage mid major hitters while we our hitters have their heads up their asses swinging at balls in the dirt.

Yep, wouldn't surprise me if we lay down tomorrow too. They looked disinterested at the plate and even Rooker isn't taking approaches like he took earlier in the year. Also by Mangum's body language and approach, it wouldn't surprise me at all (even though it is dumb ass decision) if he signed in the draft. Also, get ready for some Southern Miss trolls so mods be extra vigilant.

And then who do you play at second base? It's a vicious cycle. We would probably end up with pitchers playing in the field again and then 7 would talk about how we quit. It's not just pitchers that we have depth problems with. We're playing with 22 guys wen everyone else has 35.

Mangum has played his way back into school imo. He's not a good prospect right now.

I'm sorry but the USA pitcher was nothing special in my opinion. Don't care what he's done vs Sun Belt competition. Our bats have not been very good at all. Everyone can complain about our pitching, but you cannot justify our lack of run production. I guess we have some Sun Belt talent in our line up as well.

As it turns out, this will be a complete rebuild project for Cann.

Why would a Pro team draft Mangum right now?. He has no power and no discipline as a lead off man. He needs to stay in school and work on his game.
