I actually am enjoying the defensive play calling today except for the first drive. Players were in great positions to make plays. Just no effort by players and the no calls for Bama is showing.

As bad as the score looks, the only thing I'm terribly upset about is our 2nd level tackling. Our DBs simply have no interest in tackling whatsoever.

We've ran the ball at times, we've pass blocked decently well, Fitz has made some nice passes, & we've gotten a little bit of pressure on the QB. All those things give us a chance against every other college team.

Our Secondary tackling is atrocious though. Just embarrassing

Fact of the matter is the best way to beat Alabama is to throw the football. Fitz isn't developed enough to take advantage of Alabama's weakness on defense.

Yep. While I hate losing, I just don't have it in me to get emotional about Bama skulldragging us. They're just better than everyone else.

And look at Smokey showing some speed and heart to track down Hurd.

Yep we sucked in comparison to who we played, sucked bad. We still showed up for every game, including the then equivalent of Alabama in our class in Mississippi football. They beat our dang brains in. This MSU team, and a whole bunch of others, sucks compared to this Bama team. Bama is a college football team. The Browns would wipe the field with them.

We have actually continued improve imo. When your defense has been on the field as long as ours has your gonna have some guys look like they quit because they are gassed . If our wr would help fitz out a little we would have scored some. Anyone thinking we were going to walk it to Tuscaloosa and win just are not sane.
