Not at catcher. Agree with you there. Not enough time to adjust quickly. Some catchers can do it. Just throwing the ball on plays at other positions, if you have time. I was too athletic to play catcher.
I taught it to catchers in high school. Good catchers. State championship catchers. We worked on it in drills. Why wouldn't you? Simple transfer drills.Quote:

I was discussing a very specific circumstance -- which was very specifically discussed on the broadcast and you went seeking an argument where there wasn't one. You never "have time" to adjust grips at catcher on stolen base attempts. Not unless the dude literally falls down..Quote:
