Since things are quiet for now on the 2020 front and we're already talking about 2021, between Luke Altmyer and Ty Keyes, which is the most talented and fits our offense better? Just by watching their film, Keyes looks like the more athletic of the two even though he has a good arm too, and Luke seems to be the prototypical Pro-style QB. Both have legit SEC offers, and I was just wondering which one we prefer
I havent been that impressed by Altmyer but he has another year or two to convince me. Keyes plays in 2A but he is vastly more talented in my eyes. Taylorsville runs a 6A offense as well they sling it around the yard with several different concepts so he is no mental slouch either.
Yeah, I really liked watching Keyes play, but I had to remember that he's facing 2A competition. Both are listed around 6' or 6'1", which is a little short for my liking, but we've seen short QBs like Trace McSorely succeed in Joe's offense in the past, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal.
I think some of us have vastly different ideas of what should be included in this thread. I'm open to anything recruiting wise... star ratings, # of stars needed to compete, and even other schools' classes. Some just want to know if billy joe is visiting this weekend, and if we'll get him.
If boosters in Philadelphia, MS can't get a kid to go to either State or OM, it simply isn't in the cards. Hell they got CJ Johnson to go to Ole Miss after they ripped a lanyard off his ass and told him to sit TF down during the Egg Bowl. Some kids just want to go elsewhere, and if they are good enough our boosters won't be the only ones offering.
