Well we are here watching and commenting, even when things are not great. And we’re still buying tickets to games and traveling to Starkville from all parts. Just because we comment that things should/could be better and we’re frustrated doesn’t mean we’re not ‘true’ fans, whatever that means. Of course we like it better when we win.

What he means is TRUE State fans are happy to be cheerful when the Football team goes 1-11, The Basketball Team goes 6-24, and the Baseball teams goes 20-36. We MUST know our place in the world of College Sports. We stepped out of it last year and now our penance is due this year.

We are not a good baseball team this season. It is what it is at this point

With that definition then, TRUE State fans believe we can be as good as anybody in the country. We will accept no less. It may not always happen but we will not be cheerful about it when we aren’t.
