Some of you ignore talent for production. Kevin Coleman was a talent over production pick up from last year.
I don't understand this with NIL. With what we are paying some of these guys, what's wrong with covering their tuition as NIL instead of schollies? His NIL would essentially be the cost of a scholarship. And we can call him a walk-onQuote:

And I am not saying I was sold on James either. The guy had one blow up game in a bowl game. And I get that his height was the reason we took Allen. But unless you feel damn solid on Evans and Williams, you do not pass up on the 6’2 SEC guy who runs a 4.3 for a MAC guy with the same height who had slightly above average stats at that level.
I know some on our coaching staff believe that System > Talent and that we will get production out of the guys we plug in, and I hope they are right, but at this point, no real point in arguing the talent has gone down at WR and CB and potentially OL. I think QB and HB are a wash, unless Booth comes back and then its a huge upgrade.Quote:
