I hear ya and agree. Bates specifically may not matter as he is from Colorado and his dad is an alum and they are a winning team. I would push the overpay chips on the UaB center and guard. But I do get what you are saying.

So, it is official that Stonka is moving to safety on defense? If he is, then our talent at safety has increased dramatically with the addition of Mitchell, Manning, and Burnside.

Did everyone we expect to visit make it today? Any surprises good or bad?

Maybe, maybe not. But this definitely doesn't lend itself to the Van Buren sucks crowd.

And I would be really interested in what his NIL was. Because to go be the backup for at least a year, I can't imagine he got what he was asking for here.

Unless we really don't understand the money going around and we have no clue of the market.

He doesn?t suck you just cant give him a guarantee he will be our starter next year plus pay him a million dollars with how it went last year. Which is odd he then goes to LSU to be the backup for a year but like you said maybe they?re just throwing cash out
