That doesn't make any sense to me.
Lets say you change coaches after signing day or like for Wazzou your coach leaves & you lose 10+ recruits that had already signed.
What then? You can only sign 15 guys because your coach decided to leave?
That doesn't make any sense & seems like an awful rule
Why should MSU be punished when a kid decided to get out of his scholarship?
My guess is because the staff told him to look around, not because he wanted to leave. In other words he was signed and would still be here if new staff let him. I don’t know if true just my hunchQuote:

This is just an opinion-based post and haven't seen anything about this dude mentioned, but IF we are going to go after a grad transfer WR, we ought to kick the tires on Damon Hazelton from VT. He's put up some solid #'s there the last 2 years. Long, rangy guy with some good feet-work. Look him up on YouTube if you haven't seen his highlights. He'd be a solid get at WR.
