Pearl was awful and Oxford beat them I think. Like I said, they wont play Brandon, Madison, Clinton, or NWR. Or Pearl now for that matter. They want no part of it
They played Pearl when they were terrible and drummed them. MAIS has fallen off hard since JA went down
I think it’s time to STHU and move this shit somewhere else.
IYOK is saying he "co-signs" the idea Jarian Jones will play WR for us. He's saying WR recruiting isn't going good so JJ will be needed there.
Gosh I hate it for that kid. After hearing about his friend I just wish he could get it together for his own sake, but it's tough for kids in terrible situations with no role models to blaze their own trail. Thus the cycle of poverty continues... Diwun seems like a good kid at heart so I think he can have a good life if he finds any motivation to try.
I didn't say WR recruiting wasn't going well & that's why he will play WR. I'm saying that because I think he's a better WR than Safety. Depending on how the young WR go this year he may be needed more in the secondary but he's an All SEC talent on either side I just think he's further along at WR.
For what its worth Jones and Mingo were the best 2 WRs I saw this summer
Correct, but I was reading between the lines; if Mingo and Jackson (who we absolutely want) were solidly committed, then JJ would stay on D. It's only recently (after it was clear we'd likely miss on the top targets) I've seen you guys talk about him at receiver. I' not denying JJ is a stud on either side of the ball though, just that if things were going better in recruiting he'd probably be a safety here
Have any recruit names attending practice lately? Maybe Eric Gray?
Any recruits from Landry Walker to keep up with?
What was Paul's cryptic message on Twitter the other day? like he was waiting on a commitment to happen? kid from Little Rascals tapping his fingers deal. Hadad cryptically spells out Nakobe Dean (prob bullshitting Brandon Walker who replied to Paul)
Latest on Chris Tyree? Would love a class of 2020 update.
It's a dead period recruits can't visit practice.
No Landry Walker prospect this year.
That tweet was for Jaykwon Walton who has committed & de-committed.
We're in Tyree top 4. He's planning to come to a game this season.
What's the latest on OL Hubbard?
Alright.. I deleted 3 messages that were off topic, didn't want to but people just wouldn't stay on topic and it wasn't relevant to anything.... so couldn't just dump it in a new thread.. though I might do that from now on if it continues.
But please stay on topic for this thread.
Hubbard has to like what we have going on in the SEC versus UVA. Liking our shot here.
Virginia is less than half the distance for him, but I agree that as a football program today, MSU is on a different plain than UVA.
So, have any of the recruits been to any of our fall practices to see the MoorCoach in action?
If anything, having 5 former head coaches on staff being experts in their areas of coaching, dang that is exciting. No more GAs coaching wide receivers.
On the recruiting front, you have to believe the cruits are seeing what JoMo is saying about the fall and what he is saying in their living rooms as a good sign. Moorhead is going to be in great position when we start beating folks, and I bet he doesn't squander that headway.
I may have missed it last week, but who is the latest off-the-field recruiting office hire?
