After watching it not really. 2 was going for the tackle and their guy led with the shoulder into the chest but it hit under the chin. Years ago if was a great block.

I was reading on the rule, so any block made parallel to the line of scrimmage or towards the line of scrimmage qualifies. It was borderline.

Napier was lucky the schedule was to play State today. If he had been playing a good team, he would probably be in trouble.

This is tough for even us hardened longtime fans.

It is tough to see how with 11 players on the field we never have anyone within 10 yards of the ball carrier or receiver. Where the hell are they?
