Now they may turn this around but they're off to a really slow start. I've had "professionals" burn my food too- doesn't mean that I didn't know that they did a bad job.
We will finish just like we always do. Same range w great recruiters and shitty recruiters. We are just choosing to stay within our range and not waste our time going away to get players that will bolt at the first sign of adversity. Is what it is. This staff will recruit fine. Say what you will about Leach but he was able to attract some legit four star QB's and receivers. Unfortunately he passed away before they could be developed and play into their upperclassman year.
Also jury is still out on Bumphis as a recruiter and no one really knows what Schmidt does. Our safety coach is an unknown as well.
Until we start putting WR's into the league, we will struggle behind Bama, LSU and even the bears in that area. Hell even Arkansas has put out a first round pick the last two years at WR.Quote:
