What I find hilarious. Ole Miss dogged/trashed/complained about Matt Luke and how they could do so much better for a coach. Well guess what coach is on the sideline in Atlanta for the SEC championship.

The Sugar Bowl has a stellar history, and OM was in there a lot back in the day. Then, the Big 4 were Sugar, Rose, Cotton, and Orange. I understand them seeing it as a much better bowl than the Peach.

Traditionally, the Sugar is the SEC?s top bowl. It still carries more value than the Peach or Citrus

That?s not 100% true. Sugar is the top SEC school not in the playoff. It has prestige

I don?t disagree that back in the day the sugar bowl was a better bowl, but modern day football started in 2014 with the playoff. There are only 3 tiers now. Playoffs, NY6 that are not playoff that year and the rest.
