Magnum seems to have more trouble hitting right-handed. That was a pretty terrible AB.

Stupid base running and a double play ends the inning with no scoring. 3-1 State to the top of the fifth.

Trying WAY too hard to manufacture a run right there. Only way Gridley scores is if Arkansas makes a bad throw.

3-1 State after 4.

A&M just bunted in bottom of 4th. It happens.

Mangum K, thrown out at 1B, Gridley thrown out at the plate trying to score. 3-1 Dawgs after 4.

As long as LSU beats UF once and we sweep and A&M sweeps, I am okay sharing a title with A&M.

Terrible at bat by Mangum as well. Swung at 2 balls that hit the dirt 5 feet in front of the plate.

Id like to see mangum's avg with runners on vs no runners on. Going off memory, it seems mangum is a whole lot better without runners on. Could press too much with runners on

Fairly high probability of a bad throw under pressure, given what we've seen last night and tonight. Nevertheless, poor base running. We've been guilty of that several times this year.

Its a staple of Cohen baseball. Do something REALLY stupid on the basepaths and see if the other team will just crap the bed to not throw you out. Rarely happens though.

Sexton just wastes too many pitches after getting ahead. He runs his pitch count up unnecessarily.

1-2-3 go the Hogs in the fifth. 3-1 MSU to the bottom of the fifth.

He didn't look good early but has settled down and we had a great three run spot to help. I corrected my position earlier in the thread once I saw he settled down. Early he didn't have his best stuff at all.
