Disagree. I think the majority of your guys need to be quick. Every coach in America will tell you they want "quick" guys. But I think there's a place in this offense for a possession WR that you can throw 50/50 balls to and can use his body to shield defenders off for short yards. I don't agree that Harmon couldn't fit this offense. I'm aware that Leach hasn't typically used these guys, but this is an adaptation he could make.Quote:

My guess is that with Toles, it's that time of year, with the December signing period, where coaches have to make real decisions on whether or not they want to sign a player early.
With the transfer portal, you simply can't take the same developmental players you have in the past when you could use that spot for an immediate contributor out of the portal.
As more guys declare for the transfer portal, our options are becoming more clear & room much be made.
The rumor was early though that the staff really liked him and thought he was really underrated by the services. Maybe something changed, maybe it didn't. Almost nothing surprises me at this point.
