I disagree. Peterson has probably been at least as good as Peraza would be defensively at 2B so far this year. And I like Peterson's offensive profile more. Peraza may hit for a higher average, but Peterson will likely have the better OBP and has more power now and room to develop even more.
I think Peraza's offensive ceiling is somewhere around .310/.350/.400, where Peterson's is probably more like .290/.370/.420. While Peraza does have more speed, Peterson is no slouch there, and if there isn't much difference in the defense, I'd go Peterson.
