How they'll perform in college

Trask is back.
Liver...
He's throwing a fit. Then within the span of five minutes, if that, he's laughing with Coach Kool-Aid Man like they're just talking about the weather. And Nick's career is, at that point, all but over. They would have had to restrain me from getting in Coach Fat Ass's face calling him a dirty m'fer.
But, I guess that was the perfect time to break the news to Luke. I'm sure Dan started whistling Rocky Top around him waiting for him to ask why.
I told you, I don't care about the NFL, at all. I judge college quarterbacks on wins. It's kind of like US Grant as a general. He wasn't as skilled as Lee in tactics in war, but he knew what he had to do to win, and did it. When he moved up to the next level, he didn't fare so well. But in the Civil War, he was a winner.
As Mullen said on Gameday today. The most important ingredient in a good QB is how fast they process information between the ears. And that's impossible to judge in HS. And it has to be processed faster in pros than college. And then they also have to be able to handle the pressure too
Agree. It's terribly hard & #1 reason why all those Elite 11 camps are complete BS that don't actually help anyone rank the QBs
Again, every other sports recruits get ranked based on their pro prospect status.
PG rankings & Basketball stars are awarded based on the rankers guessing their prospect status. Why is football different? Just because it's hard?
Doesn’t help a coach to wallow in anger. He didn’t have the high definition view to confirm it was dirty so he did like a good coach. Showed his emotion to voice his displeasure and try to rally the troops. Then refocused and went back to playcalling a trash game for 3 Qs.
Watching the QBs in this game have to actually go up against good defenses, not sure I would trade Shrader for any of them.
Run the clock out
Ranking QBs by wins is like ranking pitchers by wins. It’s archaic.
Agree.
I don't think anyone's opinion on how we should value QBs is dumb. It just seems to me that, if we were truly trying to be right about this, we would rank them based on what type of NFL player they project to be.
In the league where rosters are close to even, how good will they be?
Dan just said it was a dirty play. Watch the video dan it was caused by your ol!
Now the unm hit on Nick was dirty but not this one by Auburn
Dans comment at half sums him up as a person. His OLineman is holding the DL, shoving him into the QB and Dan asks the league to protect QBs from dirty plays. Slime ball.
Such a pathetic comment by Mullen...why can a coach call a play dirty that was not dirty and get away with it? How is that not defamation of the Auburn lineman. Pathetic.
Bo Nix is more polished than Shrader, but Shrader's skill set is better. I think Nix currently throws a little better, but Shrader's size & athleticism gives him a pretty big leg up in the running.
I also like the way Shrader naturally moves in the pocket better than Nix. The only think IMO that Nix currently does better is that I think he spins it a little better with a quicker release.
They should've been rated close to the same. Shrader was a 91 rated QB & Nix should've been a 90-92 type
Dan calls out auburn but never said a word about unm being dirty? Wow
