I can?t believe that two last second losses on the road had people thinking we were not a good basketball team. We may not make NCAAs but if we don?t we will at least make semis of NIT. I still think it?s better than 50-50 that we make the big tourney. Obviously a big game Tuesday but A&M is short handed and had their ass handed to them by Arkansas today.

I was just wondering how they could choose which school to go to. Seems they'd have to go to the HS in their district. Unless the parents moved around.

Canton HS is the city school. It’s in its own school district. Velma is a county school in NE Madison. It’s part of Madison County Schools, like MC and Germantown.

I assume they don't make a lot of money, but it would be pretty sweet to see different parts of the world and play basketball. Jamont's played in Italy, Croatia, Turkey (eh). Charles Rhodes has played in Latvia, South Korea, Spain, the Philippians (another eh).

They do better than you might think. Spain, Greece, and Italy have players that's get 7 figures a year I read somewhere.

Hate to even say this, but if we beat Mizzou and Vandy, we're tied for 2nd in the SEC right.

If we beat those 2 and also beat Ole Miss and Auburn early in the year, we're 1st in the SEC right now outright.

Assuming they are doing it legally, I'm sure they moved to the Canton school district zone. There are some nice subdivisions and at least one pretty nice apartment complex out there.

Pickens is just very rural. At least for Madison County.

Well, I said that I wanted Coach Howland to beat Ole Miss and make the NIT at a bare minimum. Check mate on Ole Miss. And the NIT is looking good right with a small chance of making the Big Dance. I'm pretty pleased with that.

Me too. We have had some tough losses this season, but overall, I am pleased

To me Ole Miss in Oxford was the worst just because of the fact that we had a big lead and Ole Miss isn't a very good team.

I'm smiling at the talking heads bragging on Q. They said he was third in the SEC in steals. But we have posters who want him on the bench? Because he hasn't had a steal or a charge since Dec. Q is the backbone of our team.

Q is a good offensive player and a good rebounder but he's the worst defender amongst our starters. Babying him won't make him a better defender.
