I can see how that particular phone call may have been a misdial, but how does a person make a pocket call unless the number's in their contact list, or they're returning an incoming call? It would be next to impossible to somehow pocket dial a 10 digit number and that number just coincidentally be an escort service.

Let's be careful not to be distracted by all of this.
Bjork just admitted that there was a "pattern of indiscretion" by Hugh Freeze. Many phone calls were deleted, but the U of M recovered them.
Can a FOIA be requested for the phone calls deleted by Freeze? OM admittedly has them in their possession.

You can delete a call from your phone, but not from your actual phone records with the phone company (look at your bill). In State Government, the FOIA response would have been the phone records from the bill. No way to hide it.

Can the phone company play back calls still? About 18 years ago I had a question about a call on my bill and they played the call back for me.

The misdial was a lame excuse . Pretty easy to see The University did more digging and found Hugh's faith based recruiting involved him personally lining up escorts to recruits . After being busted I'm sure the University let him know he had to fall on the sword .

Anyone hear Mark Schlabach interview? Said he asked Bucky about this call last week and HF said he had dialed that number by accident numerous times. Then Schlabach said Bucky called him back the next day, asking if he had uncovered anything else regarding that call and number? Holy shit that screams guilty to anyone with half a brain.
