They're making diving catches and were finding holes in the infield earlier in the game with groundballs- this is just not our day.
And it doesn't help that we're competing like a bunch of pussies either.

Kendall Graveman and Adam Frazier were a couple of quiet leaders that we have to replace. I think we are battling a lack of leadership right now. I know it may not be their personality type, but Pirtle and Detz and Rea have got to be vocal in getting things turned around. They can't just be silent and expect these freshmen to step up.

Exactly, and in year 6 our program should be beyond the point of stumbling out of the gate like this AT HOME against mid-level competition. If we are truly trying to get to elite status this year may actually end up being a step BACK in the process. Like you said, last year our team looked MUCH more polished early in the season and we really didn't lose to any weak teams.Quote:
