He's surprised me. He wasn't anything special in HS (Commerce knows him well). He's really improved. Bobby, his dad, has been in ball a long time. I'll tip my hat to the kid. I didn't think he'd make it.

Yeah Dustin was always good defensively just an ok hitter in hs. He was really good on the mound in hs. When your dad been coaching in mlb as long Bobby has and you get to hang around those guys a lot I guess you pick up some stuff. I never thought he'd hit d1 pitching either.
USM gonna have to hold 'em to 4 to have a shot.
This is the SS I wish the braves could get. Where is he projected to be drafted? Gonzalez
ETA... just realized he's a sophomore. No way he's there at #30 next year for braves
Damn Southern. Not only haven’t scratched a single run in fifteen innings but haven’t had a single leadoff guy on. In your home park.
So we play for the NC in 2013, then Ole Miss goes to Omaha in 2014.
We win a NC in 2021, and now Ole Miss is going to Omaha in 2022.
They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery.
That was an impressive start
UM gonna shut out the mustard buzzards two in a row. We're gonna regret not getting Hunter Elliott from Tupelo. Kid is good and only going to get better and we've got to face him for the next two years.
Man, brutal AB
USM keeps standing on top of the plate and they keep getting killed inside.
Why is a 300 lb woman on a Gatorade commercial talking about fitness? Are they selling that as fit?
My take with 3 outs left for USM:
They were seriously over rated as they dominated a weak conference.
They can't hit SEC pitching.
They can't win no matter how many their pitchers strike out if they can't score even one run.
OM drew a weak opponent in their super regional.
Oh, well. Can OM beat other SEC teams in Omaha?
