Again, I want you to read this extremely slow… you ready… Mississippi State is not in the same boat as Vandy or any of your hair brained examples…… let me put this another way… We are NOT in a win or go home situation…. Let me try this one….. Stanford just threw their ace on 3 days rest for 2.6 innings, yes he did great for 2 in innings, then velocity dropped by 4 mph and lost command. I do believe I directly addressed this in another thread with you. Yes you can bring them back on short rest but a guy that is normally 95 mph for 6 innings will now be 91 and flat and on average be good for 2-3 innings and you have now made it where he can’t be 100 percent again in this tournament….. for the life of me I can not understand why you can’t wrap your mind around this simple concept.
Our Coaches will do the right thing. We will see Hardy Friday and I like our chances to win and going into the Championship series Monday against NC State. We haven't over pitched anyone so far except Sims did come in to get finally 4 outs. The thing is we just need to get rolling at the plate, score runs and let's win this thing! The end.Quote:
