Patterson is all but enrolled

I've been active on State boards since the late 90s and for as far back as I remember, there are always offseason threads about how the Bears are going down and nothing big ever comes of it and while I hope this time is different, history tells me otherwise.

My personal rule is that until these rumors start popping up within other fanbases in the SEC that are more connected to the SEC and NCAA than we are, it's just the seasonal "TSUN going down!" pitchfork riots that have been going on since the early days of sports message boards. Has anyone seen these same rumors from anywhere outside of our own?

I would say a tempered version of things. Like when you see drawings for a stadium, and after all the concrete is poured, it's a diet version of the grandiose palace you imagined.

Much in the same way, people (elsewhere) concluded we were going to go under from the Redmond fiasco.

Patterson is going to be there. The redshirt Pellerin is legit as well. As much as everyone is looking for this fall from grace -- they are in very good shape at the QB position.
