The only time you should go feet first is sliding home or breaking up a DP.

For one thing, Davis doesn't have a 3rd pitch. A closer can get by w/that if the other two pitches are dominant. His aren't. Plus, he's getting behind hitters. If he's our closer, we got big time issue. Time to end this experiment.

Yes, we are paper tigers with no closer and we suck running the bases and throwing people out... we gotcha sunshine.
