I understand the honey badger comparisons but this guy is smaller than Smitherman.

Is DD Bowie an actual possibility now?
I won't believe it until he signs
Braylon Sanders WR from Georgia just set up a visit with us.
He's a 4 star on scout
88 3 star on 247 & an 87 3 star composite.
So Rivals & ESPN must think he's not very good.
Anyway, good to see us getting a visit.
How good is this guy?
Update: Just watched this guy's video & he's a solid player. Likely won't help us at the X receiver as he's only 6'0", but he's got a some Kevin Prentiss in him a slot guy. Actually reminds me a lot of a Gabe Myles type skill set or a kid OM signed last year named Trea Nixon
You obviously take him and would be a good get, but even if we do, we need to have McMath in this class.
Per 24/7, we have 13 receivers on the roster and 2 commits. Do you see any attrition at this position? Surely we haven't missed on on multiple players at receiver. Are we overloaded with slot type players and short on the outside in experience, height, and talent?
Listening to the Boneyard & today Steve is talking about WRs.
Says there are 3 in play.
Racey McMath - Says LSU has had 5 WRs transfer & are needy at that position. Racey's former Edna Carr coach is on staff at LSU & that's the main relationship. Expects McMath to go to LSU.
DD Bowie - Says MSU "could" get Bowie, but says he still believes Bowie will sign with OM. Would mean something for Bowie to actually take a visit. Says Bowie hasn't stepped on MSU's campus is a long, long time.
Braylon Sanders - Says this is MSU's best chance to land a WR. Says Sanders is a good player, but won't be ready to play early. Will need a year or so to develop.
So.... that's the update on our stellar WR recruiting. I can't help but wonder how many of those 5 LSU WR transfers MSU could have gotten & used out of high school.
Welp. That doesn't sound too optimistic. Got a great QB & RB coming, but not much from a WR or OL standpoint. Damn how great it would be to have Lashley & AJ Brown right about now.
Question: What's the deal with Akers teammate, the WR? Why the hell cant we steal him from Iowa State? Is there something else to that? I've heard Steve say he felt he'd be a good WR, so what gives?

I'm not sold Racey is a take for LSU yet. He could by Signing Day but I don't think that's the case now. Watching Braylon Sanders play I think he needs a RS year to get bigger & stronger but he's a good WR. Kam White is a defensive player not WR.
We have non-committed OL visiting this month and working some more.
