I think you’re right. We end up with him probably by this weekend. Auburn never wanted him REALLY. If they did they would probably have had him committed yesterday. Truthfully, after this fiasco and getting pressured by freeze and the kid like that, I almost want the FSU kid out of spite. Would still love to have Arnold and if he’s in Maroon and white I’ll support him no matter what.
That kind of stuff just leaves a sour taste in your mouth though.
i see several short snippets of those 2 daily. never seen a bigger 2 wanna bees anywhere. they know less than several of us on this forum.
I think if the market will pay it, you are worth it. Hell, if I had a clinic call me and offer me $600,000 guaranteed to see 20 patients a day, I'd call my wife and tell her we are moving.
You're right. It's not a good look. But you know we allowed ourselves into this position. We should've just paid MKT value for a QB and moved on. Instead we let Freeze get involved and they were handing out cash to visit. Hell, we should've paid him the 25K.
Here's the other thing though. This kid is 20 years old. I mean it would hard to not get caught up in the recruiting at that age. I mean this is a kid that was told by one fanbase that he sucked for a majority of the year and now he has multiple SEC programs, one of which HIS BACKUP beat, telling him he's the answer to their prayers.
keep the info coming, Steve. pay no attention to the nay sayers.
Nah. I am done with it tbh. It is more trouble than it is worth trying to argue. I am arguing with people who cannot grasp how recruiting has worked in this conference for 50 years. NIL has made no difference. It has just brought it to the forefront. I will just be a regular poster again. That is easier anyways than draining my phone battery 3 times a day talking to people about all this crap. I will leave it to the people who are paid 40K to report it.
And I will still answer anyone who asks. Just shoot me a PM and I will let you know what is going on.
maybe this cowbell cat can try educating folks out there in the stratosphere********
His info is good. But unless you are in the room with the coaches and players and have first hand knowledge to share, which no one does, then there will always be room for errors. I have literally received 180 degree conflicting reports on a recruit at the same time. Both were right when they sent the message because the recruiting turned in less than 5 minutes. It's more volatile than the stock market.
