Kellum sucked tonight
Kellum sucked tonight
Clark, 17 man. Go the other way with it.
That pitch has been a ball all f'n night
I don?t care if Alford plays on the moon next year.
Brutal. No postseason for the 2nd straight year. That should be the end of ANY head coach at a program that considers itself elite.
17 Lemonis.
17 this team.
17 this season.
Bunch of pansies led by a fat pansy.
Well. Now on to football.
Rough loss. Have to question the shifts, not pinch running for Alford, pitching to the guy with 2 homers and not bunting with Mershon.
Well, it's almost certainly over. Lemonis has missed the sect 2 years in a row. If we're a blue blood, that's unacceptable.
Lemo and Alford can kick rocks
Why the hell would you not pinch hit Chance for Clark. First off, Chance is actually good at the game of baseball and Clark is god awful. Secondly, it would have been left on right.
Clark has not developed into jack shit. He?s terrible.
There are literally dozens of coaches out there who would take this job, and would have had us better than 13th in the SEC this year.
I agree in principle that we need to have a replacement ready, but it's not like it's a gamble to make the change at this point.
Well heck. Lemonis stayed with Nixon who never once got ahead of a batter. What is the Ump supposed to do. Call Nixon?s crappy pitches strikes well our batters take K take K swing at a roller, and when they do get ahead in the count 3-0, still end up getting themselves out.
This season ended for State tonight because State doesn?t have consistent clutch hitting and doesn?t have a shut down closer.
Alford has been a clubhouse cancer and Clark is a first pitch solo HR or an out. The official scorer has obviously given Clark someone else?s hits because there is no way that guy is a .300 hitter.
What a disappointing season. I could care less we played better last couple weeks and I’m sure some will say we improved and Lemonis n
Needs another year. I have no confidence.
He shouldve taken the money out of HS and fizzled out
Last week I was considering giving him another season when it was stated Hines and Jordan would probably leave if we fired him. Tonight I made the logical, rational decision to burn it down now even if they do leave. Hines is gone after next year anyway and I don't know but Jordan may be draft eligible too. The quicker we burn it down, the quicker we can start rebuilding.
In his defense, he should have been taught to hit right handed. He is a one perfectly placed pitch hitter and if he doesn?t get it, he?s toast. In fact I hope we sign a bunch of Right Handed hitters. Dads stop teaching your kids to bat left handed unless you are teaching them to nit from both sides. 10, 15, 20 years ago when you didn?t see a lot of left handed power pitchers, left handed hitters were the way to go because 75 % of the pitchers were right handed. The best teams now have 95 mph lefties with that sweeping 78 mph curve and 100 mph righties with an 89 mph slider and a 85 mph change.
No one is blaming him dumbass. He has never lived up to the hype. Cant argue that.
Team didnt deserve Hoover
Definitely should?ve walked the guy in top of 9th. The dude was zoned in
