Fristoe was one of my favorite players. I know he didn’t have a great year this year but the potential was through the roof.

Will be interesting to see if KC Hunt and Jackson Fristoe stay at MSU. It's almost guaranteed they leave in rounds 1-10. When drafted in rounds 11-20 it becomes a crapshoot.
This draft has been interesting, and I think indicative of the changes to the minors. In the first 10 rounds roughly 50 HS kids were drafted vs. roughly 250 college players. That trend seems to have continued today.
With the reduction in MiL teams, MLB is going to want to spend less in player development and will really only be taking "sure thing" high school players and investing in international signees.
College Baseball will be the new A-AA baseball. I like it.
Thru 15... only lost Fristoe and Hunt so far.
5 minute break time...
16th rd - Kamren James to TB - pick 494 - as a SS lol
He gone. Good luck Kam.
Groff from Tulane is now what we are NOT wanting to see...
What's he get at that slot $15K........He could prolly get that in NIL money.........He'd be a fool not to come back.......
Brady neal lsu commit just drafted by KC in the 17th... interesting
Justin Bench of Ole Miss just drafted by the Giants. For obvious reasons, I assumed the Reds would draft him.
Well theres Jurrangelo Cijntje in the 18th round to the brewers... think we are safe though
I expect James to return. He still has leverage and his supposed asking number is about 6 times higher than 150K
Incorrect. He's listed as S/S meaning switch. Not sure what page ya looking at or following but im following here and the live audio

Matt Wyatt just got drafted. He's a little old, but good luck to him.
it's over. Kellum Clark and Groff did not get drafted.
The draft is now over. Whew.
So basically, Mule and Knight could have essentially gotten the same money drafted in the 20th round as they will get going in the 9th round? I guess the only difference is they are more likely to get slot money in that 9th round than the full 150K in the 20th?
I think with this years record and outcome plus the very late draft pick, James is going to be very very motivated and having taken a big bite of his humble pie, may yet become the leader we need him to be. I expect James to make a huge jump this year at whatever position he plays.
Couldn't have asked for a better few days for our signing class. Loftin, Cijinte, Holcombe, Highfill, Jordan are all guys who could've gone in the top 5 rounds, but we're going to get them to campus.
I think Kam and KC could come back. Just depends how the money shakes out. Fristoe is likely gone and he needs to honestly. Hancock hopefully comes back now.
Bill knight getting drafted sucked, so now hopefully we pivot to a guy like Groff. Still need to land Skenes. That's our ace. Land those two and maybe another bullpen arm, and we're an Omaha team.
I’d rather have Knight, but Groff would be a SOLID plan B.
Sounds like the only player we had drafted that might come back is KC and he might go pro too.
Things are changing so fast with baseball; I think all the drafted Msu guys will take what is offered, not sure any would get much more money next year in the draft anyway.
Like I said, times are changing in sports.
Something to remember about guys drafted rounds 11-20. The most they can get is150k(last year it was 125k). Last year less than half of those players drafted got the full amount. Quite a few got as little as 20-30k. The average was about 75k. Just because mlb teams can pay as much as 150k doesn't mean they will.
