This is my feelings for it too. If we lose again this weekend to this team I'm moving us to Defcon-2. We should have pounded this team into oblivion with the lineup we have. Sims having an off night is understandable especially with cold temps, but very disappointed in our team's approach today
TA was a great Bulldog. He is not in the top 5 best baseball players we have had but def Top 10.
This team has to figure out some spots. The OF is a mess right now. SS is an issue. 2B needs adjusting.
Our pitching staff has to find their roles. Lots of talent- but you got to put the pieces of the puzzle in the right spots for it to work. Gonna be another month to get that right
We are building for June- not March
Should we Start Stockpiling Alternative Internet Options Should Diamond Dogs Get Injun Cursed? I'm starting to not feel that well.
The **** they are - LAST year?s team is the National Champion - we own the crown from last year - a new crown will be given this year and by the looks of it - we won?t make the SEC tournament with this team if they don?t nut up
Too many people are satisfied with having won it - yes I enjoyed - however being a championship level program means you can sustain and play to a certain standard - state should be in their best place to date given past success and recruiting
It just looks and feels like too many people ?relaxed? in the offseason when it should have been even more intense
And is why Saban is the GOAT. It does not matter if they beat Mercer in September or Clemson in January. It is the 24 hr rule and they flush it and move on. Our players let everyone tell them how good they were for 8 months and our fans want to crow about it and bring them out at every quarter break and TV timeout to blow them a little more. MOVE ON. It was fun to get to the mountaintop but on July 2nd the message should have been now is the time to begin a new push. Instead it seems like that message is having to be constantly repeated each and every weekend.
