Vansout
Well that was stupid, Vansau.
Why try to get 3 there? That's an easy double. You're in scoring position with 1 out.
Come on guys- you're down 3 runs. Getting 1 guy to 3rd instead of 2nd is not worth much risk
This team can definitely learn a lot from the stupid mistakes we have made so far this series. I hope they do.
Woulda been 2 runners on now with one out of vansau had not tried to be super man.
Damn... would've scored had he stayed at 2nd
Well what coulda been a big inning turns into nothing.
Man this just blows.
Y'all are dumb. At this level it's on the runner there not the coach. With 1 out that is absolutely the time to take that chance. Bein on 3rd with 1 out is a big deal...
Carry on
Can we bring back lovelady please.
Mcquary just simply doesn't have enough accuracy to pitch
You take the chance with one out, not two. A sac fly scores the runner. Of course, if it wasn’t close then that is bad.
So far we have 2 runs off of 15 hits in the series. USM has 16 runs on 19 hits.
By the way, I'm was gone for a bit, but I thought McCrary was suspended?
6-2 ballgame
We Have No Pitching! NONE! ZERO!!
Oh, and we have no power either. But to make up for our lack of power we can't hit for average
So far its been one of the worst weeks in recent memory for MSU men's sports.
We are vastly overrated
Reynolds with another multi-hit game. Todd right... luke sucks something serious
Regardless of outcome this weekend... we do not even look like a SEC team...
USM is the better program right now, and you guys are not going to like what the punks from Oxfart are gonna do to us in a couple months
One can only hope our guys play better than this when they finally get into the new Dude.
So Pilk showed 0 improvement in his 2 weakest areas (keeping ABs short and going above 80 pitches before he loses it), and gives up a bunch of runs. We bring in possible Sunday/midweek starter Keegan James, who got hit hard. Then we bring in a counted on JuCo newcommer Leibelt that we're supposedly going to rely on, and he can't throw a strike. Hatcher is used to save the pen. Saturday starter Ethan "will be really good" Small gets hit hard, gives up walks, and even when he settles in he wasn't dominant. He gets replaced by McQuary, who was supposed to be one of the best middle relievers on the team, and he craps the bed with control issues.
Yeah, 0/4 on the unknowns (all of whom we were told would be good), and the one proven guy didn't look improved. And as I type this we go down in order -again- to a team with significantly below SEC average pitching
