Aside from the bad mental mistakes it's hard to be that down on MVB. Both tackles are letting guys by them barely touched. Pounders is an idiot. Traore slipping and not wanting to block, Craver losing a big pass in the sun, Coleman dropping a TD, Mosely dropping what could've been a TD. He's not getting much help in the pass game.
The defense has been helped out a ton by our run game and time of possession. I'm not falling for the improved Hutzler rhetoric yet.
I'm not sure why they haven't done that on every play
Unless I'm mistaken, Matt wasn't crapping on MVB. Just pointing out that a true freshman is struggling with game management on the road in his first ever start. I?ll disagree, we were never winning this game. First drive of game possibly cost us 3 points because he didn?t call one then. I think he missed some coaching opportunities. I?m not hating on the coach hopefully he pulls us out this mess.
If we could get some people to block like 85 our run game would be a lot better.
We are just bad bad on defense. No where near able to stop anybody for the foreseeable future.
Positives our Run game is doing much better and the Oline is doing better. D played very well the 1st half but because of manpower shortages they got worn down.
