Is the reason the men don't shoot free throws well because the players are all used to playing AAU ball, with it's slam dunks and from-the-cheap-seats three pointers? I know each team only has a limited amount of time for a coach to coach the players. That means the players have to learn free throws often on their own, shoot them after everybody has gone home.
My guess is that the last thing these guys want to do after a hard practice, is work on their free throws.
