Gridley 2 out single, E7 gets him to 2B. Robbie pops out to end the inning.
Robinson was hitting .202 before that out. Hahahahaha
Does No 7 ever look for the inside pitch?
Sexton retires the side in order, adds his 6th K. Only 63 pitches through 5 for him. 4-0 Good Guys Mid 5.
Feigl works around a 1 out single by Lowe. Glad this cat didn't start, cause we can't do shit with him.
If we get by without burning Rigby it will get exciting tomorrow
A) No, we advanced the runners to scoring position. I don't know how that's not considered a "good thing", seeing that it got 2 guys 90 feet closer to home plate, which is actually the goal in baseball. Most would I agree that's a positive. But beyond that, if you view his AB as a stand alone situation, then sure it wasn't awesome, but what happened afterwards was 3 runs. It was a successful inning. In baseball, you actually get out more than hit safely, especially a guy hitting .250. So, the odds say that he probably wasn't going to have a more productive AB. I mean, will James loves stats, so he should know that.
B) We have sac bunted 1 time all weekend, and that inning led to 3x more runs than every other inning where a sac bunt did not take place. It sounds like Cohen did something different, and it worked. But you keep complaining because 3 isn't 5.
