I think I would be good with any of those except for Bielema.

I also think there are some good innovative young coaches coming up that I am keeping my eye on too- Ben Arbuckle, Kinne, Zach Kittley, and Eric Morris. I want to see how they perform and how their careers progress because some have questions to go along with the promise.

When coaches have come back for a second stint they historically have been slightly worse when you look at Bill Snyder and Mack Brown. Yes, we all remember 2014 and 2010. But there were also some 2011 and 2016's in there. I think a lot of the MSU fans that want Dan back want him back because they feel like he is "safe".

But the reality is we have to look at what is best for MSU football. And I personally feel like MSU can hire someone that can at least duplicate Dan's success- see Jackie and Leach as exhibit's A and B- while at the same time potentially moving the program forward. And that's going to take someone that can increase our recruiting power while also developing our presence in the portal. I don't think Dan is the guy to do that based on his history.

MSU football does not need it's version of Polk 2.

I think a lot of that blue collar crap was something that the MSU media came up with moreso than MSU.

In a sick way I think it's funny that Arnett literally did everything that they wanted and it turned out to be complete and utter shit. Like some of us predicted it would be.

yeah agree, and Rosebowl in on his site saying he was just passing along what the administration was saying.
To me, it was a concerted effort on both media and the administration because they could have easily told their puppet media "don't start with that blue collar one of us crap". Had the MSU media been told to stop and change the message, they would have. Or maybe it was just insignificant at the time. To me it showed we don't have an administration that has a better vision of ourselves and the fan base than that.

That game against UGA during Covid that Leach refused to puss out on when we had 48 eligible players. That is one of the best coached games that I have seen in a loss. Ole Miss had more players and refused to play A&M.

That's one of the proudest moments I've had being a State fan. There aren't many of them but I was proud of Leach and the team showing up and given GA all they wanted.

Personally, I blame Keenum and the boosters at this point for the football mess. People still blaming Leach or Moorhead or Cohen or whoever is just not accurate, and personally I am not a Moorhead or Cohen fan. It all comes down to the fact that Keenum and the boosters decided to hire their friends instead of qualified people. That is the real reason why we are in the spot we are in. Not hiring and AD for so many months after Cohen left and then just hiring friends will not be successful 99.9% of the time in any business.

Hell, the way things have been going in athletics lately I would not be surprised if we hired freaking Jimbo Fisher if Lebby doesn't work out. I do not think we are forward thinking enough to get a Zach Kittley. We'll hire a retread and hope for the best.

Yep! We just haaaaaad to hold that recruiting class together even though they were recruited for the air-raid. Whether we ran the air-raid in 2023 or not, we were eventually going away from it and the best way to do that was to rip off the bandaid and start rebuilding. But no, we had to keep the air-raid recruiting class together and convince players to stay for their 5th year or not transfer by telling them we were going to run the air-raid only to then change. The problem is during that year, we didn't accomplish a damn thing to prepare for the future. We ran a ton of experience back on the field that year on both sides of the ball which stopped the younger guys from getting a lot of, if any, experience. Then last year Lebby had to start from scratch against that schedule and gets to do it again this year against the same schedule with our toss-up games on the road. To sum up, the rebuild from the air-raid that should have started in 2023, didn't start until 2024.

I think "holding the recruiting class together" was a good excuse for them to use. Many boosters did not like Leach because they care more about having involvement in the program than winning. That 2023 team had a lot of seniority, but most of them were not SEC quality players. We only thought that because Leach was one of the best at utilizing different players strengths and weaknesses to win games. He was able to hide a lot of the teams faults and even keep them hidden from other coaching staffs. It just made it a bigger disaster when they went from really good coaching and leadership to terrible coaching and leadership in a year.

I think any coach in America could have won more than two games. On the job training AD hires on the job training HC who hires and keeps on the job training DC. What could have possibly gone wrong?****

Not many coaches could ruin a team that good from a talent standpoint. Cohen legit did no homework on this one. My PSU friends and neighbors all legit asked me the second it was announced if our AD was on drugs.
