Could this be Leaches Holloway ? ... Small for a RB but probably quick ... I wouldn't expect Leach to look for an Anthony Dixon type back with his system - got an offer for the 2021 class

We could add more than 2.
Harmon
Calvin Johnson doesn't have ranking yet but is a 4 star talent. We'll see where he ends up
Calloway is still out there. We'll see what happens
Eitherway, Ole Miss's recruits seem to be better in the composite rankings & 247 has their recruits mostly ranked lower, which makes the 2 classes damn near equal.
Either way, both classes are going to be very similar & not a penny's worth of difference on the field.
We've actually finished ahead of OM in composite 3 of the last 4 years.
Avg per recruit for us is 86.55, which is 12th in the sec. That's only ahead of South Carolina and vandy (teams that fired HCs).
We can nitpick the class and it's ranking all day, but it's going to be a solid class that fills needs. Really the only question is OL, and we'll have more options if we wait until February. Everywhere else is really solid.
I’m not saying 247 has better evaluators because I’d be shocked if the evaluated our JUCO players for more that 30 seconds, but they do seem to be more up to date than anyone else’s.
Seems like Rivals and ESPN slap a ranking on a guy as a JR and never looks at it again regardless of how the player’s ability fluctuated. We’ll benefit from that with Harmon.
My sense when looking OM’s class is that there are a number of players that established themselves as 4 stars their Jr years and got worse or injured. 247 re ranked those players as 3 stars but the other sites never touched them
To be honest, who cares what OM’s recruiting rankings are as long as we take care of ours?
Looks like Price is taking the RB spot and Hunter wanting to wait till February is out of a spot.
If ?we? are honest, what ?we? do doesn?t make one damn difference

MS AL Game is on right now. Can watch it for free at FNUTL.com. Ty Cooper is pretty darn good, y’all. Should be ranked higher. He is a bigger recruit than I thought.
Auburn currently has 12 commits, and they have no coach. Should we and OM be concerned if freeze gets hired at auburn that he tries to raid us two to fill in a class? Assuming it is freeze, he might go hard on the transfer circuit this cycle though.
Playing around with the class calculator, if we finish with the 7 we're supposed to finish with (Harmon, Price, Cooper, Anderson, Perkins, Johnson, and Boone/OL with similar ranking), we'll finish with a composite score of around 218. If you apply that to the last 4 years and get an average, it'll put us around 27th. Not fantastic, but certainly acceptable with it being this staff's first year in the SEC. The knock on them was that they wouldn't be able to recruit, and so far, that's simply just not true.
However, if we want to actually start taking steps forward as a program, we need to move forward with the goal in mind of having top 25 classes year in and year out. That's not totally unrealistic. That's essentially 1-2 more 4 star players and 1-2 less low-3 star players. Looking back over the last 4 years, the 25th ranked class averaged around 226. So that number and up should be our target next year, with a strong in-state class seemingly on the way.
